Gevee cc would like to thank you for your interest in our website located at www.gululu.co.za, our mobile applications (collectively the “Sites”) as well as the Gululu interactive smart water bottle and any other ancillary product and service (collectively, the “Services”) owned, offered and/or operated by us.
This privacy policy (this “Policy”) has been compiled to explain how information about you is collected, used and disclosed by us when you use our Sites and Services or when you otherwise interact with us.

Please read our Policy carefully. If you do not accept this Policy, you are not authorized to use our Sites or Services. We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time and such modification will be effective upon posting on our Sites. Your continued use of our Sites or Services following any such posting or notification of such revised Policy shall be deemed to constitute your acceptance of any such modifications. If such changes are material, we may notify you more prominently and obtain your prior consent or the prior consent of a parent or guardian. Please review this Policy periodically for changes and pay attention to the “Last Updated” date displayed at the top of this page. By accepting this Policy, you agree to let us collect, use and disclose information about you in accordance with the purposes listed below.

What information do you provide when using our Services?
Ordering Products. We collect information you provide directly to us when ordering our Products. Such information may include your name, email address, physical address, phone number or other information you choose to provide.
Setting Up an Account/Profiles. We also collect information from parents/guardians when setting up their Gululu account and any child Profiles. We may collect an email address from parents or guardians to create their account. We will send an email in order to obtain consent from the parent or guardian to our data use practices. After consenting, a parent may provide the following information about their child – nickname, gender, birthdate, weight, and daily water intake goal – as part of creating a child Profile. Parents have the option of uploading a photo of a child to use with a Profile.
Support Requests. If you contact our Customer Support through the Services or the Sites, we will receive your email address along with any additional personal information that you provide to us as part of your inquiry. This information will only be used to respond to your support inquiry.
Children's Privacy Disclosure. We sell children's products for purchase by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without the verifiable consent of the child's parent or guardian, as required under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, and in accordance with, and subject to any other applicable law and regulation.

What information is collected automatically when using our Services?
Your child’s Gululu water bottle collects data to track their approximate water intake while using the bottle. Initially, a parent or guardian will need to pair the Gululu bottle with the app by connecting to the bottle and configuring the Wi-Fi settings. When the water bottle syncs with our app, such data on the device is transferred to our secured servers. The water bottle does not include GPS or other features that use precise location data. We do not collect any location tracking data from the bottle.
In addition to the above, we may also obtain information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. For example, when you access the account via the mobile device, we may automatically collect information about account connectivity such as router related information, Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate location information derived from your IP address, access times, browser type and language, operating system, and app and mobile device information (including cookies). We do not collect the water bottle’s IP address.
